Guns N’ Roses Vocalist Axl Rose Slams President Trump!

Axl Rose Slams President Donald Trump

Guns N’ Roses lead singer Axl Rose has been no stranger to voicing his public opinion on politics on Twitter. Today he made a return on social media slamming President Trump’s White House. See his tweets below.

Axl is perhaps referring to the news reports of some people questioning President Trump’s mental fitness to lead the country. According to CNN “White House press secretary Sarah Sanders faced questions Thursday for the second day in the row about President Donald Trump’s mental fitness to serve as president.”It’s disgraceful and laughable. If he was unfit, he probably wouldn’t be sitting there, wouldn’t have defeated the most qualified group of candidates the Republican Party has ever seen,” Sanders said, before praising Trump as an “incredibly strong” leader.”

According to the Hill, “questions about the president’s mental health are being asked more openly in response to the release of excerpts from a forthcoming book chronicling the chaotic first months of the Trump White House. Author Michael Wolff wrote that concerns about Trump’s mental state are shared even among his own aides.”

“My indelible impression of talking to them and observing them through much of the first year of his presidency, is that they all — 100 percent — came to believe he was incapable of functioning in his job,” he wrote. Sanders called the book a “complete fantasy” that is “full of tabloid gossip.”

Axl Rose and Donald Trump Go Way Back

Back in the 90’s when Donald Trump was still a private citizen, he was actually a huge fan of Guns N’ Roses. There were even rumors of Guns N’ Roses working with Donald Trump on a documentary film. Guns N’ Roses former manager Doug Goldstein told a story on Mitch Lafon’s podcast about how he arranged for the billionaire to meet Axl Rose backstage at a Guns N’ Roses show in 1991. Years would go by after the early 1990’s where Axl and Donald wouldn’t be mentioned in the same sentence. Fast forward to 2012 when Donald Trump tweeted about Axl Rose not showing up to the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony. See his tweet below.

If you haven’t seen it before, I recently did a true story episode of the history between Guns N’ Roses and Donald Trump! Check it out below.
