Alice Cooper’s Upcoming Record to Feature Most of the Appetite Era Lineup?
A tweet from Zachary Nevel mentions that Alice Cooper’s new album features appearances by Guns N’ Roses members (current and old) Axl Rose, Slash and Izzy Stradlin! Whether it’s old material or new material remains to be seen. Slash did recently post a photo of Alice Cooper on Instagram. Maybe it’s a clue of his upcoming collaboration. Slashs played and appeared in the video for Cooper’s 2008 song ‘Vengeance is Mine’, that also appeared in the hit video game Rock Band as downloadable content. Axl Rose appeared on the re-recording of the song ‘Under My Wheels’ in 1988.
Alice Cooper was on the same bill as Guns N’ Roses at Rock in Rio this past year. Perhaps they had some discussions about collaborating together.

Mysterious GNR.FM Website Gets Updated with Clues!
The GNR.FM website that was found to have been uploaded recently has now been updated. The website features:
- a countdown timer. The countdown timer indicates that in two days and a few hours we’ll see some sort of announcement coming at midnight eastern time on Friday.
- a small snippet of a high quality (new version/remixed/re-recorded?) version of Shadow of Your Love
- a newsletter sign up button
- a map of the world with purple dots and
- a compass that only works on mobile devices.
Sadly I wasn’t able to get the newsletter sign up button to work for me The countdown timer is pointing to an announcement for a re-mastered version of Appetite for Destruction along with some old photos and demos. I’m still clinging to the theory that it is being released to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Appetite for Destruction hitting number one on the Billboard charts in 1988.
People have also noticed that on the background of GNR.fm there are purple dots. Some people seem to think these are the locations of the recent posters that have shown up (see below) or they could be locations of where others are listening to the same stream on the website. If you follow the prompts on your mobile device the website asks to use your location and you can use the compass to find the purple dots (if you have one in your City). Thankfully there is one purple dot in my City within walking distance of where I work. I have confirmed the pink dots are the locations of posters. The website then asks you to take a photo and tweet it out or post on social media with the hashtag #appetitefordestruction Check out my photo above!
