Dizzy Reed to Tour With Dead Daisies This Summer!
According to Ultimate Classic Rock, Guns N’ Roses keyboardist Dizzy Reed will be touring with the Dead Daisies throughout North America in August and September. There was a rumor last week that Guns N’ Roses may potentially add some additional fall tour dates to their schedule. With these new dates announced from The Dead Daisies and Slash’s solo dates announced thus far there’s still a possibility that Guns could do another arena tour from October thru December.
According to Ultimate Classic Rock
“Members of The Dead Daisies are following up their recent run of sold-out European dates by returning to North America for another leg of new shows — this time with support from Dizzy Reed and his band Hookers & Blow.
Currently touring in support of Burn It Down, The Dead Daisies — a collective of classic rock vets comprised of ex-Whitesnake and Dio guitarist Doug Aldrich, former Mötley Crüe singer John Corabi, Thin Lizzy bassist Marco Mendoza, guitarist David Lowy, and new drummer Deen Castronovo (Bad English, Journey) — will wrap up in Europe on May 9. They’re currently scheduled to start up in North America on Aug. 15, when they’ll perform at the Agora in Cleveland. This series of dates will keep them on the road through at least mid-September, when they’re booked to play the Roxy in Los Angeles.
Reed, meanwhile, has had his own full docket: In addition to ongoing duty with Guns N’ Roses, he’s lined up a slew of recent Hookers & Blow dates as well as finding the time to finish his recently released solo album, Rock ‘N Roll Ain’t Easy. Check out the bands’ full complement of currently scheduled dates below.
