Guns N’ Roses Gothenburg, Sweden July 21, 2018 Concert Recap and Videos!

Guns Roses Play Gothenburg As Second Last Europe Show for 2018!

Guns N’ Roses played their second last show in Europe this year in Gothenburg, Sweden. Gothenburg is the same city where Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl broke his leg after falling off stage. You guys might remember Grohl was kind enough to lend that special throne of his to Axl Rose after Axl broke his foot in 2016. Let’s talk about today’s setlist. Check it out below and check out videos from the show below!

First Single ‘Driving Rain’ Released From New Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and Conspirators Record!

Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy have their new album titled ‘Living the Dream’, which is due out on September 20th coming up. Ahead of the album’s release, the first single from the album has been released. Titled ‘Driving Rain’ the song is the album’s first single. ‘Driving Rain’ sounds very radio friendly and doesn’t sound too much like a departure from Slash’s previous work with Myles Kennedy. You can listen to ‘Driving Rain’ here or below If you can’t listen on spotify try this link. Slash and his band will be touring in the months of September and October. It’s also rumored that his band will be playing Europe early next year as well. I’m sure we’ll be seeing a video for ‘Driving Rain’ fairly soon on YouTube.

SLASH FT. MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS THE CONSPIRATORS, which features Myles Kennedy on vocals, Brent Fitz on drums, Todd Kerns on bass and Frank Sidoris on guitar.

Asked by “The Classic Metal Show” if “Living The Dream” is musically similar to the last Slash disc, Myles said (hear audio below): “Yeah, it definitely has those sonic hallmarks, I think, that started to evolve on ‘Apocalyptic Love’ [2012]. It’s 12 songs, and there aren’t a lot of epic journeys. We had more of the epic side of things on the ‘World Of Fire’ record; these are very concise, and there’s an uptempo quality to a lot of the tracks that I think bode well for this band. So, yeah, we’re excited to put it out there and do some touring on it. It should be fun.”

SLASH FT. MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS will support the collection by embarking on a fall tour of the U.S. and Canada, beginning on September 13 in Los Angeles and running as of now through October 14 at the Aftershock festival in Sacramento, California. Myles told “The Classic Metal Show” that he is “sure there’ll be more” shows to come after the fall tour. “It’s still in the works,” he said. “They’re trying to get all that stuff sorted out for next year. There are just a lot of moving parts — ALTER BRIDGE is reconvening next year, and we’ll see what happens with the GN’R camp. So there’s a lot of things to juggle, but they’ll make something happen.”

After Slash and the CONSPIRATORS toured “World On Fire”, rumors about the long-awaited GUNS N’ ROSES reunion tour began to circulate and were confirmed in early 2016.

The current GUNS trek — which features Slash and fellow original members Axl Rose and Duff McKagan — launched in April 2016 and has since grossed close to $500 million, with more dates coming this summer and fall.

Asked if there was ever a point where he wondered if Slash would ever return to making music and touring with THE CONSPIRATORSKennedy told “The Classic Metal Show”: “I wasn’t sure, to be honest. I knew he loved making music in this context, but, obviously, that thing’s [referring to the GN’R tour] been so successful to where he was… People would always ask me during interviews, ‘So what’s gonna happen with SMKC?’ And it just got to the point where I would say, ‘Time will tell. Anything is possible.’ But, obviously, with the success of that machine, it was just impossible to know what was gonna come about as far as the future for this band. So somehow we managed to get another record in.”

For “Living The Dream”Slash and his band re-teamed with producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette (ALTER BRIDGEIGGY POPINCUBUS).

Kennedy‘s debut solo album, “Year Of The Tiger”, was released on March 9 via Napalm Records.

This was the third time that gnr concert. First one was 1993 in Stockholm and the second was last year in Stockholm. I have to say as a performance it was the best yessterday. The whole band was laughing and smiling all the time.
