Slash Talks About The ‘Appetite for Destruction’ Box Set!

Guns N’ Roses Guitarist Slash talked about the ‘Appetite for Destruction’ box set in a new interview with Radio.com. The ‘Appetite for Destruction’ box set seemed like it was received with a lukewarm response by the fans including me who felt that there wasn’t really much of anything that was new. Most of the demos that were part of the box set had been available on YouTube for years. Slash had the following to say about the box set is his latest interview

“The Appetite box set…yeah we were all involved in putting all that material together, but it’s something we were all aware, we were very aware of the Sound City sessions, and you know the ‘Shadow of Your Love’ sort of demo we did with Mike clink and all the other different acoustic things that were all from other places and the first demo we ever did so we were all very aware of it and anxious to put it all together and get it out”

According to Radio.com

Slash just released his latest project with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, delivering Living The Dreamas a comment about the country’s current state and just a flat out fantastic rock album.

To celebrate the release, Slash recalled one of the greatest moments of his career. From his first time hearing Guns N’ Roses on the radio to their recent Appetite For Destruction box set and his latest solo release, saying Slash has come a long way is an understatement.

When talking about his dream collaborations, he noted “It’s not something that you consciously go after, that would be obnoxious.” We can almost guarantee no one would be annoyed by Slash asking them for a feature… but we understand where he’s coming from.
