Guns N’ Roses Rumoured to Headline Lollapalooza 2020 in Brazil

It is being rumoured that Guns N’ Roses could headline Lollapalooza next year in Brazil. We had previously reported that Guns N’ Roses would be playing South America in Fall of 2020. According to site Destak

Three years after the presence of Metallica in the line up, heavy rock returns to be one of the main attractions of the Brazilian Lollapalooza. The Destak found that the 2020 edition will be GNR as one of headliners. The event takes place on dates to be defined between the end of March and the beginning of April.

The detail is that the American band is suspected to arrive with a new record and the classical formation, or the closest to it. Another rumor is that the group could play the full 1991 album “Use Your Illusion” in which they recorded hits like “You Could Be Mine”, “Do not Cry” and cover of “Knockin ‘On Heaven’s Door” (by Bob Dylan).

It all depends on the season of shows Guns does in the second half of the year, according to guitarist Slash on a radio. According to the musician, who was in Brazil in May, the band already works on new songs, but will only go to the studio after this stage of performances, at the end of 2019.
