25 Years Ago Guns N’ Roses Axl Rose & Slash Make a Surprise Cameo on Gilby Clarke’s “Pawnshop Guitars”

Yesterday Marks the 25th Year Anniversary of Gilby Clarke’s First Solo Record “Pawnshop Guitars”

On July 26, 1994 then Guns N’ Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke released his first solo record titled “Pawnshop Guitars.” Also making an appearance on the record were his then bandmates  guitarist Slash singer Axl Rose, bassist Duff McKagan, drummer Matt Sorum and keyboardist Dizzy Reed. Rose sang on the Rolling Stones cover “Dead Flowers.” Slash played on the song Tijuana Jail and Cure Me or Kill Me.
