“ORDINARY MAN” comes out how on the heels of OZZY OSBOURNE’s collaboration with rapper POST MALONE’s on the song “Take What You Want” on his latest record “Hollywood’s Bleeding.” It would be POST MALONE’s producer ANDREW WATT who encouraged OSBOURNE to record a new album.
OZZY OSBOURNE would be helped out on his latest release by GUNS N’ ROSES bassist DUFF MCKAGAN and RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS drummer CHAD SMITH who would be the backing band on the album. GUNS N’ ROSES guitarist SLASH, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE’s TOM MORELLO and ELTON JOHN also appear on a few tracks along with rapper POST MALONE.
The album came together really quickly with OZZY OSBOURNE telling The Sun
“If it wasn’t for making this record I would still be on traction, thinking, ‘I’m going to be lying here forever.’ I’ve missed music so badly. My fans are so loyal and so good. Up until making the album I thought I was dying. But that got me off my arrse.”
Sadly though, OZZY OSBOURNE has cancelled his 2020 North American tour dates to recover from health ailments he’s been dealing with the past year.
