Disgusting Cake Topper Features Slash’s Real Hair

Fans should get their wallets out if you love Slash and Guns N’ Roses. Apparently the grave yard of guitarist Slash and his ex-wife Perla Ferrar (Hudson)still exists online as the cake topper from his wedding to ex-wife Perla Ferrar Hudson is up for sale on Ebay. What makes the cake topper truly disgusting is that topper features Slash’s real hair.

The topper can be purchased using the “Buy It Now” price of $3,000 See the listing here. The couple finalized their divorce in 2018 in which Slash had to pay out an enormous amount of money.

According to the product description, the topper is

“custom fitted with top hat, veil and hair to represent Slash and Perla,We are herein stating in writing that when Perla Hudson consigned this property to Julien’s Auctions, she indeed told us that the hair on the cake topper belonged to Slash.”

Perla’s real hair is also on the cake topper as well. Recently, Slash lent a hand to fellow guitarist Alice in Chains Jerry Cantrell to remove an unwanted visitor from his home.

Guns N’ Roses Cancel Summer Touring Plans

To know one’s surprise Guns N’ Roses will not be touring Europe this summer. The band made the announcement today on social media, but didn’t outright scrap all the shows. Instead, they maybe rescheduled at some point in time. Check out the announcement below!

GN’R Fam: Sadly the upcoming European tour will not be happening. Things are changing daily and we want to keep our fans, crew members and band safe. We are working hard with our promoters, venues and cities/countries on next steps and will make further announcements as soon as we can.

Thank you for your patience. We will get through this together and look forward to seeing you all very soon …

The tour was scheduled to start on May 20 in Lisbon, Portugal, with dates planned to run through June 27 in Dublin, Ireland. The band was planning on touring stadiums across North America this summer with the Smashing Pumpkins opening several shows. The band’s south american shows were already pushed from March and April to this fall. My guess is that those shows will be canned. You can see the band’s current scheduled tour dates here.

Guns N’ Roses Ex-Drummer Matt Sorum Talks Who he Thought Would Die First From The Band

Earlier this week former Guns N’ Roses drummer Matt Sorum revealed who he thought would be the first to die during his time in the band. To know one’s surprise he singled out Duff “Punk Rock” Mckagan due to his escalating drinking in the early 90’s.  During an appearance on “Appetite For Distortion” Podcast, Sorum discussed the issue:

Matt is about  to release an autobiography titled “Double Talkin’ Jive” in early July. He said:

“At that particular time of our lives – you’re young and you’re out there and you’re rebellious, and you’re doing what you think is right at the time.

“I meet younger kids and younger bands and they’re partying and they’re doing their thing, and I’ve got nothing to say about any of that except for you’re gonna get there when you get there, and you’re gonna do what you’re gonna do until you don’t do it anymore.

“I’ve gotta say a large percentage of those years were great. [Laughs] I don’t go back, ‘Oh, man, it was horrible. I was in such bad shape.’

“Yes, there were times, back in the day… as hard as we went at it, I thought someone was gonna die, for sure.

“And I used to worry probably more about the other guys than me. Especially [bassist] Duff [McKagan, who struggled with alcoholism], I thought any day, ’cause there were times when I would see him and I’d go, ‘God…’

“But we’ve all lived to tell the tale, if you will, with the exception of people that we love, like Scott [Weiland], and people that we lost like Chester [Bennington] and Chris Cornel…

“Those were the guys that were gonna fill the bill for the guys that came before them. Those were the three greats that were gonna replace the icons before them.

“Who’s gonna replace Mick [Jagger] and Steven Tyler and all these great rock ‘n’ roll frontmen? Who is the next generation?

“Who are the guys that are gonna take their place for the next generation to go, ‘Oh my God. This is Chris Cornell, one of the greatest rock singers of all time.’”
