Ok..so I am reposting this, as I see, sadly, we are so super politically charged. My intent was to encourage people to read The Constitution. Facebook and social media is a fine place for 'some' information (usually just good jokes if you are me), but primary sources are key. As an American, and especially now with all the yellin' and hollerin'…kick back and inform yourself, maybe. Another book suggestion in this vein would be 'Hamilton' and/or The Federalist papers. Peace out everyone.

Chris Cornell’s Cover of ‘Patience’ Surfaces Online

Yesterday it was revealed that former Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell had covered the Guns N’ Roses song ‘Patience.’ Listen to it below!

Cornell stays pretty close to the original, but has some synths and percussion added in addition to his added depth. The video was released to celebrate Cornell’s 56th birthday.

Cornell’s Facebook page posted the following message along with the video.

“His birthday seemed the perfect time to share this and celebrate Chris, his voice, music, stories and art. It is true a man is not dead while his name is still spoken … and, through his art, an artist’s soul still burns just as bright as ever upon all those that look up to him and his memory,” “Releasing music that was special to Chris keeps a part of him here with us — his heart and his soul. His love and his legacy.”

It was revealed recently that current Guns N’ Roses guitarist Richard Fortus will be collaborating with former Motley Crue frontman John Corabi. During a recent interview for Gretsch Guitars on social media he revealed the news saying the following:

“I’m working every day. I’ve been really fortunate. Unlike a lot of my friends during Covid, they’ve not had any work, because they’re touring musicians or they’re studio musicians that don’t have a studio at home.

“‘I’m actually sitting in my studio, which is in my house, and so I’m able to do sessions for different people. And I’ve been really fortunate that I’ve had a ton of work, and I’m busy every day doing sessions, which is awesome, ’cause I love doing that.

“I love playing on other people’s stuff; I love writing with different people. My buddy John Corabi is coming up from Nashville in a few days, and we’re gonna work on some stuff together.”
